Whether you’ve never set foot in a yacht before, or would love to introduce friends or family to the joys of sailing, our day sails are for you! Find your sea legs and learn the ropes in the beautiful inshore waters of the Firth of Clyde.

All day sails (full day, half day and evening) are skippered by an experienced RYA certified skipper who will look after you, make sure you’re comfortable and teach you as much as you want to know. You’ll become a valuable part of the crew, learning the basics and getting the chance to take the helm of legendary Rival 41C sail training yacht East End Endeavour!

Each day sail will begin and end at our home berth in Clyde Marina, Ardrossan. Weather depending, your sailing destination could include the Isle of Arran or Millport on Greater Cumbrae. Find out more about the area in our Location page. Please note that all sailing activities and destinations are subject to favourable wind and sea conditions for the crew’s comfort and safety.

Full day sails cost £110 per person, inclusive of a soup and sandwich style lunch aboard, tea/coffee and snacks throughout, plus any short-stay berthing fees, gas and fuel. Half day or evening sails cost £55 per person. We can also provide foul weather gear (sailing jacket and salopettes) in unisex adult sizes XS to XXL at no extra cost.
